How do I return a purchase?

We aim to please our customers and want you to be happy with your purchase. We are happy to provide an exchange for books that have not been damaged or used or are not quite what you expected. Please contact us within 7 days of purchase. All items exchanged will incur an extra delivery charge. There are no refunds or returns on sale items.

We take extreme care packaging our orders but in the unlikely event of breakage or damage during the delivery process, or the item is faulty, please call us on 0466 229 421 immediately to organise return of goods and full refund at our expense.

Audio books can only be returned if they are unopened or there is a problem with the quality.

We respect your privacy and will not disclose or sell your details. Any information collected by thereadingspot.com.au about you through this web site or in any communication with us is used exclusively for the purpose of processing orders, improving your shopping experience and to communicate with you regarding our products and services and special promotions. How can I order and pay for books?

You can order and pay for your goods online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Payment may be made using paypal or direct deposit, credid card payments will be available by the end of August 2009. Goods will be sent within 24 hours of payment confirmation.

If you are seeking a particular book please email us and we will search high and low to find it for you.

Are my credit card details secure?

thereadingspot.com.au uses SSL Certificates and an external secure payment gateway. We do not have direct access to or store Credit Card Details.

We also offer paypal or direct deposit as a payment option if you would prefer.

Is Gift Wrapping available?

Gift wrapping is available for a small fee, and we can send it direct to the lucky recipient along with a card.
Select this option at the checkout when selecting the shipping method.

What are the delivery costs?

Our shipping charges are always the same within Australia, regardless of where the book is coming from. That's $6.50 for all of Australia. You only pay this once per order, whether you buy 1 book or 200 books from us.
